- General - The hotel also has 2 bars and a lounge. April 1998
- Lobby - The lobby is small.
- Location - The quay Thistle is situated on Poole quay overlooking the harbour and is minutes from old Poole town.
- Restaurant - The octagon restaurant overlooks the harbour and is decorated in peach napiery.
- Rooms - The 68 rooms are medium in size and are kept in good condition along with the Bathrooms. The rooms are light and Spacious and some are decorated in navy blue and yellow furnishing and fabrics.
