- Exterior - Traditional hotel, with a large sweeping driveway.
- General - The hotel offers extensive leisure facilties. August 1998
- Lobby - Small in size with limited seating area.
- Location - The hotel stnads in 5 acres of lanscaped gardens at the western end of sidmouths esplanade.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is elegant and formal with large chandeliers and serves both a la carte and table d'hote menus.
- Rooms - These are of a good standard and are medium in size. They all have full facilities and Bathrooms en suite. Decor is plain but tastefull.
