- Exterior - An impressive modern building - unusual architecture.
- General - The hotel has a number of meeting rooms and conference facilities. There is a gymnasium and spectacular indoor swimming-pool with Spa Bath, sauna, steam room, hair and beauty and coffee shop overlooking the pool. A very impressive hotel. - not visited, report from brochure -
- Lobby - Large with much marble glass and brass.
- Location - The Mickleover Court hotel is located in Mickleover on the outskirts of Derby within easy reach of attractions ie. Alton towers. Surrounding countryside has many historic buildings of interest.
- Restaurant - avesbury' is the main restaurant and has an extensive a la carte menu - very elegantly decorated in yellow creme. There are also executive dining rooms and an Italian trattoria and 2 bars.
- Rooms - The rooms are large and kept in exceptional condition. All rooms have private balconies with views, air-conditioning, mini-bars, hair-dryers, Bathrobes, satelitte tv, trouser-press and ironing facilities.
