- Exterior - This is an attractive, historic hotel with gothic tower and water wheels, the remains of the original Mill which dates back to the time of the domesday book. The building has a modern extension.
- General - This is an excellent hotel and also features a bar and lounge. Nearby leisure activities include clay pigeon shooting, canoeing, paint ball, quad bikes and coarse fishing. Cathy 08.09.97
- Lobby - The hotel lobby is medium in size and has dark wooden panneling and furniture with a small seating area.
- Location - The hotel is situated on the banks of the river trent and is surrounded by 54 acres of beautiful mature woodland. The nearest airport is east midlands which is 4 miles away and nearby locations include Donington Park, Derby and Nottingham.
- Restaurant - The Riverside restaurant has a reputation as one of the finest in the area and serves a varied selection of imaginative cuisine, complemented by an extensive wine list. The room is attractive and overlooks the river.
- Rooms - Each of the rooms have been individually desgined and are medium in size and in excellent condition. Facilities include tv, radio and hairdryer and 4 poster suites are available in the gothic tower.
