- Exterior - Its stone and slate construction is characteristic of the lake district, and an impressive 5 storeys now boasts all that is best in modern hotel design and decor.
- General - The health club has full and extensive leisure facilties. April 1998
- Lobby - The lobby is small but modern.
- Location - The hotel is situated in the small village of Whitewater.
- Restaurant - The restaurant offers a European cuisine with views overlooking the river Leven. The bar has a terrace which overlooks the river.
- Rooms - All of the medium sized rooms are en suite and have full facilities. They are in a good condition. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the river.
