Hotel Reports
- Exterior - Originally the hotel was a Georgian mansion house which dates from 1830. It has a fine stone exterior. Internally many of the original features have been retained.
- General - The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool which is used only in summer, a snooker and a table tennis table are also available. April 1998
- Lobby - This area is small in size but elegantly furnished.
- Location - The hotel is located in the centre of Bowness and is set amid lovely gardens overlooking Lake Windermere.
- Restaurant - A grand wide staircase leads to the restaurant which is brightly and elegantly decorated with views over the lake and the Cumbrian Hills.
- Rooms - All of the bedrooms are of a varying shapes and sizes, but the majority are of a medium size and are in a good condition. All have full facilties and some have views over the lake.
