- Exterior - This is a traditional whitewashED building, with a large modern extension which houses the extensive leisure centre.
- General - Apr.1998
- Lobby - The small lobby area is comfortably furnished with a seating area for guests.
- Location - Set in 3 acres of tranquil gardens with superb views over lake Windermere lies the Burnside Park. It is only 300 yards from the promenade, steamer piers and bustling village centre.
- Restaurant - The restaurant serves an excellent selection of English cuisine. The hotel has recently added a conservatory which overlooks the lake and serves drinks and light snacks throughout the day.
- Rooms - The majority of the rooms are of a medium size and are of a good condition. All have en suite bathrooms, full facilities and some have views over the lake.
