Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The hotel is a white Georgian building.
- General - The hotel also has an indoor heated swimming pool with sliding roof panels to make the most of the summer sunshine. There is also a sauna and solarium. April 1998
- Lobby - Inside the furnishings in the lobby and public areas are all traditional, although small.
- Location - The hotel is set above Lake Windermere overlooking the splendour of Belle Isle and the Claife Heights. It is surrounded by quiet gardens.
- Restaurant - The restaurant has magnificent views, it offers an imaginative selection of traditional English fayre and French cuisine.
- Rooms - The rooms are large and are in a good condition, tastefully and individually modernised, including 2 four poster beds. All are en-suite and all have full facilities.
