Hotel Reports
- Exterior - This is a traditional, dark stone building with some of the best surrounding scenery ever seen.
- General - The hotel also has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, solarium, gym, games room, tennis courts, hairdresser and an outdoor play area for children. This is an excellent hotel for any market. Malcolm august 1998
- Lobby - The hotel lobby is traditional and medium in size with a small reception desk and a seating area. The room is decorated in traditonal scottish designs with tartan sofas and curtains.
- Location - This hotel stands on the banks of lake Derwentwater and is set against the dramatic backdrop of the Lodore falls. The hotel is surrounded by 40 acres of award-winning gardens and woodland with excellent views of the lake.
- Restaurant - The hotel restaurant specialises in seasonal fare and is quite a large room with plenty of Space around each table. There is also an extensive wine list.
- Rooms - The hotel has 75 rooms, all en suite, with facilities such as telephone, trouser press, hairdryer, tv and tea and coffee making. The rooms are medium in size and in good condition. The decor is bright with deep red and blues and light wooden furnishings.
