- Exterior - This is a traditional building, built in the 1860s in Italianate style.
- General - The hotel has 2.5 acres of private grounds where children can play in safety. The hotel also has a fitness and leisure centre. August 1998
- Lobby -
- Location - The hotel stands in extensive well kept grounds, with views of wooded hills and Morecambe Bay from its terrace. The mile long promenade of Grange-Over-Sands, which overlooks Morecambe Bay, is at the foot of the hotel's drive.
- Restaurant - There are 2 restauants, both of which enjoy panoramic views of Morecombe Bay.
- Rooms - The bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, are large and very nicely appointed, all having undergone major refurbishment.
