- Exterior - Modern, purpose-built yellow brick structure.
- General - A good alternative to Chester or for exploring the NOrth-west. ML/APRIL00
- Lobby - The lobby is small modern in style.
- Location - The Hotel is situated in a rural setting on the outskirts of Widnes within easy reach of the M62, M57, M6 and M56. It is close to Chester, Manchester and Liverpool.
- Restaurant - Palms restaurant is based on a tropical theme with a cocktail bar and serves nset and a la carte meals. Nelson's bar serves bar snacks and is on a nautical theme.
- Rooms - The rooms are medium in size and in good condition, decorated in a modern style. All rooms have satellite TV, direct dial telephone, trouser press, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathrooms are all also in good condition.
