- Exterior - Having recently undergone a 12.5 million pound redevelopment, the hotel has a very impressive, ultra-modern glass and steel facade.
- General - The hotel has not only a fully equipped leisure club with indoor pool, gymnasium, steam room, sauna, solarium and spa, but also squash courts, full size snooker tables and a beauty salon. It is an excellent standard 4-star property perfectly positioned for Chester, Manchester or Liverpool.(ML 04/02)
- Lobby - The stunning glass reception area is elegant and spacious with a coffee shop and bar.
- Location - Located at junction 11 of the M56 motorway the hotel is only 20 minutes' drive from both Manchester and Liverpool airports. Set in its own grounds, the hotel is also within easy reach of Chester.
- Restaurant - The Looking Glass restaurant has been developed on the theme of Alice in Wonderland, the author, Lewis Carroll, having been born locally. It offers a brasserie menu, whilst more formal dining is offered at the Cheshire Room.
- Rooms - The rooms are have designer led decor and are of the highest quality. All rooms are equipped with a modem point in addition to data port and voice mail, hairdryers, satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and trouser press all fitted as standard.
