- Exterior - The hotel is a Victorian mansion and was built in 1854, but it also has 2 modern wings.
- General - The hotel has a club which includes a heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, squash courts, sauna and solarium. (02/01 MJ)
- Lobby - The lobby area is quite small but cosy, with a reception desk and a few seats.
- Location - This hotel is situated in landscaped gardens in the Cheshire countryside, 1 1/2 miles from Chester. It is a few minutes drive from Crabwell Manor.
- Restaurant - The hotel has 2 restaurants, one which serves French cuisine and another which serves lighter meals and snacks.
- Rooms - All of the rooms have private facilities and hospitality trays. Some rooms have 4 poster beds and minibars. The rooms are medium and large in size and are of good quality.
