- Exterior - The middle of the building of the building is a listed building dating from 1870. The surrounding buildings are quite modern, built in the 1970's.
- General - The hotel also has a very attractive lounge which looks out on to the patio garden. The hotel has a free car Park. August 1998
- Lobby - The lobby area is very small but has recently been refurbished to a very high standard.
- Location - This hotel is situated in the city centre overlooking the famous Parker's piece cricket grounds.
- Restaurant - There is one restaurant and a bar.
- Rooms - All of the rooms are modern in decor and have full facilities.
