- Exterior - The hotel is modern in design as it was only built in 1990, but has been built in keeping with the traditional buildings of Cambridge.

- Lobby - This area is currently undergoing complete refurbishment.
- Location - This hotel is situated in the heart of the city centre, a short walk away from the main shopping centre and adjacent to a few colleges that make up Cambridge university. Cambridge train station is 1.5 miles from the hotel.
- Restaurant - This area is undergoing complete refurbishment.
- Rooms - The rooms consist of two double beds in each twin room. Each room has remote control television with movie channel, hairdryer, hospitality tray and trouser press. Furnishings are plain but stylish and some floors are designated non smoking areas.
