- Location - The Chequers hotel is situated in the centre of the old market town of Newbury. It is an ideal base for exploring the attractive berkshire countryside.
- Restaurant - The comfortable restaurant looks out onto a charming country garden and offers the finest of traditional English cuisine.
- Rooms - The rooms all with ensuite Bathrooms are medium in size and decorated and furnished in a traditional fashion. They are in good condition.
