- Exterior - Originally built in 1860, this elegant, red brick, Victorian building has been sensitively restored to its former glory.

- Location - The hotel is situated in the pretty Berkshire village of Crowthorne and as such is ideally situated for exploring the lush Berkshire countryside and the historic Thames-side villages. London is just thirty-five miles away.
- Restaurant - The comfortable looking restaurant is nicely decorated and has pictures with detailed scenes from the Battle of Waterloo on the walls. It is appropriately named the Wellington restaurant.
- Rooms - The medium sized rooms, all with en-suite Bathrooms are nicely decorated and furnished and appear to be in good condition.
