- Exterior - The hotel is built around a 13th century title barn and a 17th century manor house. The hotel is set in 3.5 acres of landscaped gardens.
- General - The hotel has 2 bars; a cocktail bar and a riverside bar. The hotel also boasts a sauna and solarium. (02/01 MJ)
- Lobby - The lobby although relatively small, is carpeted with tables and chairs. The lobby leads to the lounge area and stairs beside reception lead to the bedrooms.
- Location - The hotel is located 2 miles from Bedford town centre. It is situated by the River Great Ouse. Bedford's mainline station has direct links with London Kings Cross Thameslink.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is elegantly furnished and overlooks the River Great Ouse. The food and wine menu are both full of variety.
- Rooms - The rooms vary in size but are generally medium and are kept in good condition along with the bathrooms. Rooms are tastefully decorated and have en-suite bathrooms along with hairdryer, trouser-press, direct dial telephone, colour television with Sky channels, radio and tea/coffee making facilities. Four poster rooms and luxurious suites are also available.
