- Exterior - From the outside the hotel is a traditional modern building. It also has a large extension which has been built to blend in with the original building. There is a long, impressive sweeping drive leading up to the hotel with grass and trees surrounding it.
- General - This is one of the newest and most elegant hotels in Bath. The hotel has leisure facilities available. (02/01 MJ)
- Lobby - On entering the hotel the decor is breathtaking. It has been restored to its original splendour as a traditional country house. The elegant lobby is adorned with priceless antiques and oil paintings, as is the rest of the hotel. The lobby is small.
- Location - The hotel is situated 10 minutes from the city centre at the top of a hill.
- Restaurant - The hotel has 2 restaurants; a formal restaurant serving a traditional cuisine and a restaurant in the colonnade which is less formal.
- Rooms - The large sized rooms are of an outstanding condition and each room is individually decorated providing essential creature comforts and a host of indulgent extras. Bathrooms are luxurious in mahogany and marble with fine toiletries and large baths.
