Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The hotel has a modern terraced frontage with art deco features.
- General - This is a good hotel with modern facilities. It is in keeping with the traditional atmosphere of the town. PH 04/01
- Lobby - The lobby is large and elegant with marble floors, flowers, small statues and peach decor. It has a small boutique and cafe which are popular with the local people. The lobby features an elegant central staircase leading to the 1st floor which is decorated with small statues on brass fittings. The statues and paintings throughout the hotel have been specially commissioned. They are tasteful and occasionally amusing.
- Location - The hotel is located on the main avenue in the city centre, opposite the park and casino.
- Restaurant - The first floor restaurant leads onto the summer terrace and serves French and international cuisine. The other restaurant is more exclusive and is situated on the top floor. It has the atmosphere of an English gentleman's club.
- Rooms - The rooms are decorated with paisley prints and regency stripes, although the walls are plain. The rooms have all modern facilities and are light and clean. The bathrooms are standard and have concealed lighting.
