Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The hotel has an attractive classical facade that is beautifully lit in the evenings.
- General - This hotel was the finest hotel in Zagreb and was, until recently, a member of the 'Leading Hotels of the World'. The hotel claims to be 5 star but by international standards is a 4 star.PH 04/01
- Lobby - The reception area is medium in size with beautiful original art decor and furnishings. The area is has little natural light but the white marble and beautiful furnishings compensate for this.
- Location - The hotel has an excellent location in the city centre, beside the railway station. It is within walking distance to the shops, bars and restaurants.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is on the ground floor beside reception and is decorated in art deco style with a very good selection for breakfast.
- Rooms - Orginally all the rooms were very large but some of the rooms have been divided, making them quite small. Most of the rooms have high ceilings with wooden furniture. The rooms are comfortable but need to be refurbished to regain some of their former glory.
