- Exterior - This is an old colonial house traditional in style.
- General - This is a centrally located hotel with basic features.(10/02 RC)
- Lobby - The lobby is very small and decorated in pale colours.
- Location - The Vesuvio is located in walking distance from the most important points of interest of the city such as the National theatre, the culture plaza, the national library etc.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is situated next to the main building decorated in whites and pinks, serving international cuisine.
- Rooms - Most of the rooms are medium in size in fair to good condition and furnished in pastel colours, and so are the bathrooms.
