Hotel Reports
- Exterior - A typical mountain hotel consisting of two seperate Swiss chalet style buildings with wood pannelling and French doors.
- General - 0100/pg hotel not visited, report written with the aid of brochure & other materials.
- Lobby - The lobby is small, totally furnished in wood and incorporates a small tv viewing area.
- Location - Situated a five minute walk from Monteverde surrounded by the forest and immense greenery all around. Twenty minutes from the sky trek and sky walk, twenty-five minutes from the santa elena reserve, ten minutes from the Monteverde cloud forest reserve and 115 miles from San Jose. The altitude of the hotel is 1,500 metres.
- Restaurant - Situated next to the lobby on the ground floor serving Costa Rican cuisine with a view of the gardens.
- Rooms - Of the thirty-four rooms many of which have private balconies, some have views of the gulf of nicoya and others overlook the tropical rainforest. The example on the brochure shows a modern room totally furnished in light wood pannelling. It is large and in good condition.
