- Exterior - The resort is formed by 'casita-style' bungalows and have panoramic views of the ocean and are nestled into the slopes of the mountainside that protects papagayos volcanic sand beaches.
- General - This is a deluxe all inclusive resort. . 20 jan 2000 hotel not visited. Report written with the aid of a brochure & other material.
- Lobby - The lobby is a small area with modern colours and a view.
- Location - Blue Bay Village papagayo is located on the pacific coast in the unspoiled gulf of papagayo. It is 20 miles northwest of liberias international airport and 200 miles northwest of San Jose's international airport. An hour drive to the nearest rainforest.
- Restaurant - The hotel boasts four seperate restaurants. The el papagayo serving int'l cuisine, the da vinci is an a la carte restaurant, a snack bar and a pool side restaurant.
- Rooms - The 80 bungalows are nestled into the side of the mountain. Each offers marble floors, wood ceilings and bath and shower, air conditioning, tv and telephone. All are modern in decor.
