- Exterior - This all-inclusive resort is formed by 12 buildings surrounded by its own gardens.
- General -
- Lobby - The lobby is medium in size and open plan with views over the ocean.
- Location - Costa Smeralda is located on the pacific coast in guanacaste, in front of the gulf of papagayo. It is 20 minutes from liberia international airport and three hours driving from San Jose international airport.
- Restaurant - The hotel has two restaurants from which to choose. The formal restaurant 'las rosas' serves a la carte and los geranios serves buffet style meals. There is also a pool bar called el rancho which has fast food and is decorated in native Costa Rican style. All the restaurants are located in the main building. 20 jan 2000 hotel not visited. - Rooms - All the 116 rooms are ocean view and are divided into 112 standard rooms and 4 suites. The standard rooms have king size beds or 2 full size beds, bathtubs, showers, colour cable tv, walk in closet, desk and a little living room set. The suites include jacuzzi and a small living room. All the rooms have ocean view and the bathrooms are decorated with Italian tiles.
