Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The main building is a rustic structure consisting of 23 rooms. The other part of the complex consists of 14 cabins which have a view of Arenal lake, cote lake and on a clear day the Arenal volcano can be seen from there.
- General - The Ecolodge is a centre of ecotourism & ecoadventure in Costa Rica. . 20 jan 2000 hotel not visited, report written with the aid of brochure and other materials.
- Lobby - The lobby is large with a spacious living room area consisting of a fireplace, pool table and a library.
- Location - The Ecolodge is located three and a half hours driving from San Jose, twenty-eight kms from tilaran, guanacaste next to the wonderful cote lake and the Arenal lake into an extension of 700 acres, half of this extension is primary forest, the other is secondary forest, citrics and grass. Due to the altitude of the place (700 to 1,100metres) it is categorized as a cloud forest, therefore perfect for bird watchers and nature lovers.
- Restaurant - On the ground floor next to the lobby serving local & int'l cuisine
- Rooms - All are in good condition, rusticbut modern in decor and have views of the Arenal and the lake.
