- Exterior - Pleasant Chinese-style hotel with 30 acres of landscaped Gardens. The Shangri-la complex consists of two main building, together with a large convention center and cluster of villas.
- General - The hotel is good for both leisure and business clients
- Lobby - The lobby area is large
- Location - The hotel situated on the north west shore of the scenic west lake, it is 3km from downtown and 17km from airport.
- Restaurant - There are 03 restaurant offering local and western cuisine. Apart from 02 restaurant, there are coffee shop, lobby bar, American bar & cafe, Garden lounge.
- Rooms - All rooms are in mordern western style with climate control, bath, minibar tea/coffee maker, colour tv, radio & phone. Some rooms with balcony. All rooms are kept in good condition.
