- Exterior - This is a historic hotel which dates back to the 16th century and is set in huge, romantic gardens and woodland near a Lake.
- General - This is a magnificent hotel with a perfect blend of past and present luxury. For the ultimate in sumptuous living.(ML 02/01)
- Lobby - On entering the hotel, there is a medium sized lobby which has priceless reminders of the Castle's historic past including splendid wood and stone carvings and original oil paintings.
- Location - This hotel is just 8 miles from shannon airport and is one of the most exclusive baronial castles in Ireland. It is situated in the heart of the Clare countryside and local attractions include Bunratty Castle and Folk Park.
- Restaurant - The dining room has been named best restaurant in Ireland by Egon Ronay and is extremely elegant with chandelliers and candles.
- Rooms - The 75 guest rooms and suites have been individually decorated with great attention to detail. The rooms are medium and large in size and in exceptional condition. The decor includes rich damask wallpaper, antique furnishings and custom-designed curtains and drapes. The suites are in the centre of the Castle and the bedrooms are in an annexe that leads off the main building, through a tudor Courtyard.
