- Exterior - The building is a relatively modern,moderate high-rise structure of glass and concrete.
- General - The hotel is probably one of the most famous hotels on Hong Kong island. The accommodation is regarded as of an excellent standard and it prides itself on offering an extremely high standard of personal service. May 99.
- Lobby - The lobby and reception area is large with high vaulted ceilings. It is elegantly furbished in a mix of western and oriental design.
- Location - It is located in the area of Hong Kong island known as central, the main commercial and business area,close to chater gardens and the legislative council building. It is a short walk from here to the famous night-time entertainment area of bars,restaurants and clubs,called lang kwai fong. It is also close to the water front. The nearest mtr station is central.
- Restaurant - There are several restaurants throughout the hotel. They are all large and very well appointed. They offer a choice of either western,cantonese or Japanese cuisine.
- Rooms - The rooms are all large;exceptionally so for Hong Kong. They offer either a view across the harbour to kowloon or across the city and the peak.
