• Exterior - The resort hotel is nine stories in height with two wings of rooms. Trees surround the property and you feel like you are in a winter wonderland when snow falls.
• General - Area activities in winter are downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, snowshoeing, sleigh riding, dogsledding, and ice climbing. In summer there is hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, white-water rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, tennis, fly-fishing and golf. The fitness and spa, with pool facilities, were recently refurnished. Nearby attractions include the Sulphur Mountain Goldola and the Upper Hot Springs Pool. Shops are on-site for your pleasure. Conference centre is st of the art.
• Lobby - The main entrance is on level 7. The lobby recently underwent a major rennovation. The Lakespur Lounge is in the lobby area with its' warm and comforting fireplace to greet you. The valley views are spectacular and welcoming.
• Location - The resort hotel is carved half way up into Sulphur Mountain in the world-renowned Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies.
• Restaurant - One restaurant offers fine cuisine with new world influences. There is an extensive wine selection from an award-winning wine list. A casual restaurant serves regional and international fare. The lounge is great for desserts, wines, cocktails, spirits and live entertainment. Another lounge is available for private functions.
• Rooms - All regular rooms are similar in size and configuration; they are categorized by their view only. All three room categories feature a full bathroom, remote control television, two telephones hair dryer, minibar, coffee maker, in-room air conditioning and heating controls. Rooms with views include the Bow or Spray Vally or the Rundle Mountain. Some rooms have balconies.
