Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The hotel is an enormous pale concrete high-rise block with dark facade and trim. It is modern and stands out on Sofias skyline.
- General - Located reasonably centrally, this huge hotel is very reminscent of the communist era, but nevertheless is hugely popular with budget groups. The hotel also has a casino.
- Lobby - The medium sized lobby is modern and quite bright. The light coloured decor behind the reception contrasts with the dark marble trim. The reception can be found directly in front of the entrance. Overall the lobby is eastern european in style and is need of renovation.
- Location - The hotel Rodina is in central Sofia close to the national palace of culture. Bus and tram links are close by.
- Restaurant - The panorama restaurant on the top floor provides interantional cuisine. The Chinese restaurant is known throughout Sofia for the quality of its cuisine.
- Rooms - Rooms are adequately furnished in oranges and browns with white walls and brown woodwork. Although they are rather old fashioned, they are clean and functional. Medium in size rooms are in fair condition and require renovation. Bathrooms are simple but adequate.
