- Exterior - A white purpose built high-rise construction.
- General - A basic but comfortable first class hotel.05/01 PG
- Lobby - The lobby is medium in size and traditional in decor with antique wood furnishings and chairs and lamps. It has tiled flooring and large paintings throughout. It also incorporates a small jewellery boutique.
- Location - The hotel is situated in the downtown area of Salvador in Porto Da Barra at the entrance of All Saints Bay. The Fort of Santa Maria is one hundred metres away and the Fort of San Diogo is a short walk away. There is regular public transport from almost directly outside the hotel to all parts of the city.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is situated on the first floor is modern but with a traditional feel. It serves a high standard of local and international cuisine.
- Rooms - The majority, roughly seventy per cent, of the rooms are in very good condition with the remainder being in good condition as are all the bathrooms. Light colours are used throughout with light wood furnishings.
