- Exterior - The hotel is approached down a grand driveway flanked either side by casuarina trees. An exceptional experience awaits at this flagship hotel with its unique colonial atmosphere.
- General - The hotel has a number of complimentary facilities including a wide range of water sports. There are 2 floodlit tennis courts and a small air conditioned fitness centre. Other facilities include a jacuzzi, television lounge, hair and beauty salon and several hotel shops. Various excursions can be arranged through the hotel including island tours, fishing and submarine dives. Children are welcomed except during the month of February when children under 12 are not allowed. There is a pool with swim up bar.0601ZS
- Lobby - Entering the hotel is like stepping back into an era of old world charm, but there is nothing dated about this hotel. Behind the gracious decor guests will find the most up to date amenities, combined with a warm and friendly service.
- Location - The hotel is located directly on St James Beach in 7 acres of beautiful tropical gardens, 13 miles from Bridgetown and approximately 45 minutes from the airport.
- Restaurant - Meals are served in the main restaurant with a further room offering a la carte dining. There is also exchange dining with the sister hotel Tamarind Cove. On most evenings the hotel provides live entertainment with calypso, jazz and other rhythmic music.
- Rooms - The rooms are very attractive, with a balcony and either a pool or ocean view.
