- Exterior - This is a historical listed building.
- General - All public areas overlook the beautiful lake of St Wolfgang aand the surrounding mountain landscape. The hotel also has a small library for the use of guests. All in all, this is a charming first class hotel offering a unique location and traditional Austrian hospitality. August 1999
- Lobby - The hotel has a small but cosy lobby decorated with traditional Austrian flair.
- Location - The Romantik Im Weissen Rossl is located right in the centre of the picturesque village of St Wolfgang,on the shores of the wolfgangsee lake.
- Restaurant - The restaurant/breakfast room and sunterrace have particularly breathtaking views and are also traditional in style.
- Rooms - Rroms do vary in size and decor since the hotel is made up of several different buildings each one at a different stage of renovation. The new rooms are medium-sized, modern in style in pastel colours and offering all modern amenities. The older rooms are also on average medium sized, decorated in darker colours and older furniture. All bathrooms are modern. Both rooms and bathrooms are in good condition. Some of the rooms have outstanding views of the lake.
