- Exterior - It is an old,cream building facing onto a narrow street.
- General - This is a price leading property that is very central with a simple standard of accommodation. Very much an old world style of property. VU0800
- Lobby - The medium-sized lobby is old fashioned and could do with renovation.
- Location - This hotel is situated in the centre of the city next to the Town Hall,a few minutes walk to Finders Street station and Chinatown and ten minutes walk to the Crown Casino.
- Restaurant - This hotel has the Vista cafe at street level and the cafe bar on the first floor which in contrast to the Cafe is a little gloomy.
- Rooms - The rooms are small and unpretentious as this is a three star hotel and no more. The bathrooms are also very small.Both are adequate for a 3 star hotel.
