- Exterior - A modern 25 storey stepped structure with entry from Southbank and the street at the back of it.
- General - One of Melbourne's most elegant hotels in the lively Southbank area. Part of Sheraton's Luxury collection. Recommended for both vacations and business.VU0800
- Lobby - The lobby is very large and is spread over 2 floors and is very impressive.
- Location - The hotel overlooks Melbourne Central business district across the Yarra River and in the heart of Southgate complex -full of shops and cafe's. Close to the Arts centre and National Gallery. Hotel is walking distance to the city centre.
- Restaurant - Melba Brasserie is located on 2nd floor. Alto's rooftop fine dining , with magnificent views over Melbourne.
- Rooms - The rooms are large and luxuriously appointed. Decorated in a classical European style, with all modern conveniences, rooms are very pleasant to the eye as well as comfortable, and most of them have a great view - either of the river and accross to the city, or souhern part of Melbourne. Marble bathrooms with double vanity.
