- Exterior - Multi storey modern building (8 floors).
- General - Good hotel at a fairly reasonable cost, suitable for any visitors to Melbourne - whether on vacation or a business trip. Holiday Inn policy: Kids under 19 years stay free using existing bedding, Kids under 12 years eat free. VU00602
- Lobby - Light and airy, medium size lobby, with a Bar and Restaurant off the lobby.
- Location - Centrally located, on the corner of Flinders and Spencer Streets, a few minute walk to Southbank, Crown casino and the Melbourne Exhibition centre. 100 meters to Spencer Street interstate train station. Main shopping area is also within easy walking distance.
- Restaurant - The Coffee shop is located just off the lobby, with large windows facing onto Spencer Street.
- Rooms - Average size rooms, with all modern facailities, including iron & ironing board. Quite well apointed rooms, renovated late 1999, so in a very good condition, as are the bathrooms. Many rooms with king or queen bed, not so many twin bedded rooms.
