Hotel Reports
- Exterior - This is an historic building with the original facade maintained.
- General - This is a first class property at tourist class rates. The heritage opened in april 1998 and so will be fresh for some time. The hotel has limited facilites (no pool) for a first class hotel. June, 1999
- Lobby - The lobby is medium in size and functional. It leads off into the historic parts of the hotel.
- Location - This hotel enjoys a very Central position,opposite flinders st station,a few minutes walk to the city centre and crown casino. However,the area of the hotel is down at heel.
- Restaurant - There is a brasserie style restaurant in the basement whose modern style contrasts with the historic nature of the property. There is a very tasteful old world bar on the first floor.
- Rooms - The rooms vary in size. Fifty percent of them are small and the remaining fifty percent medium. They have a modern decor with much use of light wood and are,along with the bathrooms,in exceptional condiiton.
