- Exterior - Modern building, several storeys high. The hotel is spread out over a large area.
- General - This area has a number of hotels as it is convenient to all that Melbourne has to offer, positioned as it is just outside the City Centre. This is a good four star hotel which caters particularly well for group bookings. VU0800/ CB0302
- Lobby - The lobby is very large with group check-in areas at either end.
- Location - The Carlton Crest overlooks Albert Park (the site of the Formula 1 Grand Prix Circuit), is only one block from St Kilda Road and ten minutes by car or tram to the city.
- Restaurant - Windows on the Park, located on the ground floor, overlooks Albert Park Lake and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
- Rooms - The standard rooms are a reasonable size and along with the bathrooms, are well maintained. They have a mini bar and fridge, TV / In -house Movies and tea / coffee maker.The Executive rooms are bigger, elegantly furnished and in good condition with all modern facilities.
