- Exterior - Traditional wilderness design blending into the mountain landscape.
- General - At Cradle Mountain Lodge there are over 20 different walks, many of them guided, through temperate rainforests and over Misty mountains. 08/08/98/VU1000.
- Lobby - The lobby of the hotel is small.
- Location - Cradle Mountain Lodge Tasmania is a wilderness retreat set on the northern edge of the World Heritage listed 131,920 hectare Cradle Mountain/Lake St. Clair National park. The last great temperate wilderness remaining in Australia and one of the last remaining in the world. 375 km from Hobart (4.5 hrs drive),81km from Devonport (1 1/4 hrs),142 km Launceston (2 hrs drive).
- Restaurant - The Highland Restaurant is a premier dining experience. The Tavern Bar & Bistro has a rustic tavern atmosphere. The Weindorfer lodge is like a private club lounge and there is also a guest Lounge bar.
- Rooms - The rooms of the hotel are medium. Quality of the rooms and bathrooms are in very good conditions. Cosy cabins fan out along a gentle slope to create a village like atmosphere. Cabins feature log fires, tea & coffee making facilites and tables & chairs.
