- Exterior - The resort is designed to blend in perfect harmony with its natural surroundings. A mixture of wood, glass and corrugated iron make up the low rise buildings in the complex.

- Lobby - Very large and impressive.
- Location - Located on Fraser Island, the world's largest sand island. A world heritage listed wilderness area & famous for its ancient rainforests,sand dunes, pristine freshwater lakes & streams and abundance of birds and free- roaming wildlife. Access to Fraser Isl is by a 40 minute catamaran trip or 45 minute barge trip from Hervey Bay. Hervey Bay is 45 minutes by air from Brisbane or 3.5 hrs by road. The resort is spread over a heavily wooded 65 hectare site at North White Cliffs, on the island's west coast.
- Restaurant - The resort has three restaurants, four bars, a bakery, coffee shop and a general store. The main restaurant "Maheno"overlooks the pool and offers buffet dining breakfast and dinner and a la carte lunches on the deck.
- Rooms - Hotel rooms are light and airy and all feature a private deck.
