Hotel Reports
- Exterior - A 7-storey curved structure, with gardens in the middle.
- General - A comfortable property, in a location close enough to the centre to stroll there leisurely. Hotel provides complimentary shuttle transfers to& from Cairns airport for individuals only (not groups). On arrival go to the Transfer desk and ask for shuttle to Holiday Inn. VU0502.
- Lobby - The lobby is large opening onto a central courtyard with tropical gardens. A fish pond housing several large pet barramundi fish, which are fed at set times each day and are a bit of an attraction.
- Location - The Holiday Inn is located a block and a half to the centre of Cairns and 15 mins drive from the airport. Overlooks Trinity bay.10 minute walk to Trinity wharf, where all reef cruises and cruise ships depart from.
- Restaurant - Restaurant and a bar are situated on the ground floor near the pool, to the left of main entrance. Restaurant showcases local Seafood, but also provides other choices.
- Rooms - The rooms are very large, well appointed, and kept in very good condition along with the bathrooms.
