- Exterior - An 8 storey, curved building with prolific greenery growing from the balconies.
- General - The Hilton has the best location in Cairns and is a high quality property. Resort style rather than a city Hilton. VU0900
- Lobby - The lobby is large and airy, with a Restaurant to one side.
- Location - The Hilton is in a great location, overlooking Trinity Bay and the inlet and looking across to a Nature Reserve. It is in the heart of Cairns and is surrounded by parks.
- Restaurant - Breezes Restaurant' is the main Restaurant off the lobby. 'Mondo Cafe Bar' is alfresco dining beside the inlet - award winning and very trendy.
- Rooms - The rooms are large and are kept in a good condition along with the bathrooms. Rooms are elegant and have a full range of amenities. Renovations are planned for 2002.
