- Exterior - This is a modern tower rising out of the majestic sandstone Historical Treasury Building, dating back to 1851, full of grace and charm of its era.
- General - A deluxe hotel with a lot of character, blending beautifully modern conveniences with traditional and historic convict days' architecture. Great views of Sydney can be enjoyed from many rooms. Value for money in it's category. 0702VU.
- Lobby - The hotel has a medium sized lobby with a separate group entrance. Reception is to the side, with Cortile - a three tiered sandstone and marble couryard to the right. This is a well known meeting place not only for visitors but for locals too.
- Location - Perfectly posistioned beside Circular Quay and across from the Botanic Gardens, hotel is located in the Central Business Districts, short stroll to the Opera House. Shops, theatres and restaurants are all within walking distance of the hotel, as is the historical Rocks area and Sydney Harbour Bridge..
- Restaurant - The hotel has 4 restaurants - one on the 41st (top floor) with magnificent views of Sydney. On the first floor is Cafe Opera, on the ground floor is a Pasta bar and a Pierpoint Cigar Divan.
- Rooms - Rooms are large, well appointed with modern conveniences, in a traditional Australian style.Bathrobe, hair dryer, and iron & ironing board are in all rooms. Rooms are in a good condition. Harbour/garden view rooms offer magnificent views of Eastern part of Sydney Harbour and over Botanic Gardens.
