Hotel Reports
- Exterior - This hotel is a modern, white high rise curved building.
- General - This is one of Sydney's largest hotels with an excellent location. It is a quality first class product with excellent views of Darling Harbour from public rooms and some rooms. There is no pool. There is a good range of souvenir shops within the hotel, just below the lobby level. VU0401.
- Lobby - The lobby area is medium in size and functional, with a bar and restaurant opposite the main entrance.
- Location - The building overlooks Darling Harbour, and is a few minutess walk from the heart of Sydney with the Opera House and the Rocks being just a short bus ride away. Across from the hotel are Cockle Bay and King Street Wharf area. Many harbour cruise vessels depart from here and there is a huge number of quality restaurants, cafes and bars. The hotel is within walking distance to the best shopping areas and Chinatown.
- Restaurant - There is an a la carte restaurant situated off the lobby overlooking Darling Harbour, with a bar to the left of it. There is also a Japanese restaurant..
- Rooms - Standard rooms are small in size, but well equipped. Together with the bathrooms they are in good condition. The hotel is gradually refurbishing rooms; a process which will be completed in 2002 and will cause no disturbance to the guests.
