General Description

259 square kms of land to be explored on foot, horseback or by jeep. Ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving. There are about 50 sites for beginners and experienced divers. Raiatea Island is the capital of the Leeward Islands, 20km northwest of Tahiti. Raiatea, the sacred island, was considered to be the heart of Polynesian culture. Tropical volcanic island with a road which circles the island through the valleys with past farms and orchards. It is a paces from the ocean to the lagoon, which the nearby Taha'a also shares.
