General Description

Surrounding Area

Located at the Circular Quay end of the Sydney CBD, on the corner of Pitt, Hunter and O'Connell Streets. A few minute walk takes you to Circular Quay, Opera House, the historic Rocks and the main shopping area - Pitt Street Mall. The Australian Stock Exhange is a few hundred meters away.

Property Information

A lovely old building, dating back to 1800's. Initially used as newspaper conglomerate - John Fairfax Ltd, it later became a Bank. The facade has been restored showing the magnificent sandstone. The Cupola on top of the building has been raised 2 floors, the weight equivalent to 12 jumbo jets.

Dining Facilities

Bistro-fax with street access, serving Italian influenced cuisine. ABX Bar features drink prices that fall and rise, rather like the Stock Exchange. Celsius is hotel's signature restaurant, serving superb Australian modern cuisine.
