Designed to merge with the wonderful natural environment, the Taboo offers fun for all in a luxurious and convenient manner. Rooms have one Queen bed or two doubles, accomodating up to 4 people. and boast a private balcony with a view of the resort or Lake Muskoka. Four dining facilities offer a variety of cuisine to suit all palates and expectations. The facilities at Taboo fabulous ! For summer these include: the 7200-yard Championship Golf Course and the 9 hole Sands Golf Course, 1200 acre private parkland with all season multi-use trails for hiking or mountain biking, 1 km of waterfront with a shallow sandy beach and waterfront boardwalk, motorized and self-powered water sports including canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, paddle boating, rowing, water skiing and sea-dooing. Basketball net, volleyball courts (water and land), Kid`s Clubhouse, 3 Outdoor Pools, 1 Outdoor 'Kiddies' Pool, 5 Tennis Courts and a bonfire pit are also available. Winter activities include snowmobile trails, cross country skiing, snow-shoeing, and an outdoor skating rink. Indoor facilities include a fitness centre, sauna, whirlpool, pool, spa, games room, squash court and gift shop. |
