The Invergarry Hotel is a distinctive Victorian building, originally a coaching inn. The hotel is located in the small village of Invergarry in the Scottish Highlands which was the clan seat of the MacDonells of Glengarry and overlooks the River Garry, well known for salmon fishing. Many of the public rooms feature fabrics and wallpapers designed by artist William Morris during the Victorian era. Each of the ten bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, all having a bath and some also having a shower. There is a colour TV, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. The hotel is fully centrally heated throughout with coal and log fires in the bar and lounge during the colder months. |
