Beautifully restored Tulloch Castle dates back to the 12th century. Mary Queen of Scots and many other rich and famous guests have stayed in this imposing fortress. Its elevated position proudly guards over Dingwall, and the views of the surrounding area are magnificent. Many of the ancient castle features still exist including the dungeons and the original mantlepiece with its roaring open fire. One of the Highlands` top chefs skillfully prepares the excellent food served in the exquisite new restaurant.
